Welcome! I’m Romy, the creator of @charTEACHerie. As a school Speech Pathologist, I’ve seen firsthand how hard my colleagues work every single day. Between social-emotional and academic needs, there’s a lot to juggle at once. Teachers sometimes get overlooked and I want to change that narrative by celebrating them more! Mugs and gift cards are the traditional way to go but now there is a more personalized option. I hope to be a resource for parents everywhere and help them show their appreciation for the people who work with their children every day.

With regards to our name, here’s what happened! I was putting together a charcuterie board for a teacher friend’s retirement party and I thought wouldn’t it be cute if it had school supplies on it instead of food? And my “a-ha” for entrepreneurship came to me right there in my kitchen! Teachers love using puns in the classroom and thus the business name came naturally: CharTEACHerie Gift Boards.
